2018 Fall Education and Training Conference

Presented By:
Wednesday, October 10,2018 starting at 08:00A
Best Western Plus Hotel
201 Washington Ave
North Haven, CT

The many community policing efforts of today’s first responders are often marred by the mis-perceptions of both the officer and community member. When each has a better understanding of the other, their commitments to each other are freshened and strengthened.

Our conference proceedings have been designed for law enforcement personnel, as well as community activists and organizers seeking to improve their relationships with law enforcement.

Participants will receive instruction related to various issues facing today’s law enforcement officer and their impact on the manner in which they interact with members of the community, with a special emphasis on those interactions in communities of color. Training sessions have been designed to provide law enforcement officers with greater tools, knowledge and skills for interacting with people, particularly in communities of color. Speakers for each session bring a wealth of experience and training in their particular backgrounds and have been chosen for their specific knowledge in the chosen subject area.

Early Registration fee (completed online or received BEFORE August 31, 2018) is $175.00, per person. Late Registration fee (completed online or received AFTER August 31, 2018) is $200.00 per person
