The National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers, Inc. (NABLEO) is pleased to announce that they will present a three-day training conference entitled “Rebuilding Equality into Law Enforcement” at the Harborside Hotel, 6400 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD, in the heart of the National Harbor area, September 24-26, 2025. NABLEO is a professional law enforcement association, whose conference events are open to all NABLEO members, qualified non-member law enforcement officers, and members of the general public. Sworn and civilian members of Municipal Police Departments, County Police or Sheriffs agencies, State Police Departments, Campus Police/Safety/Security departments, Federal Agencies; Transit/Port Authorities; Housing Police, School Resource Officers, Correctional agencies, as well as, the staff and leadership of the organizations that make up their community partnerships, and members of institutional safety units are expected to attend.

Featured workshops will present topics of interest to both law enforcement personnel and their community partners that have been designed to provide law enforcement officers, as well as, the staff and leadership of the organizations that make up their community partnerships, with greater tools, knowledge, and skills for interacting with people, particularly in communities of color, and allow them to build operative and reciprocal bridges of understanding between law enforcement agencies and communities to create sustainable impact models of positive policing.

Required registration for this program is at the rate of $400.00, per person, for members and $450.00 per person for qualified non-members, available through September 6, 2025. (Qualified non-members include sworn and civilian employees of municipal, county, state, federal, campus, and tribal agencies, members of the armed forces, as well as, the staff and leadership of the organizations that make up their community partnerships, and members of institutional safety units.) Registration fees cover the costs of program materials, a continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks each day, conference identification tags, access to conference-related networking sessions, specialty gift and certificate of attendance.

Participants requiring housing may obtain hotel reservations at the established rate of $199.00 per-night (double beds) or $209.00 per-night (king) by calling the Conference Hotel at 240-493–1020. Rate availability expires on Sunday, August 24, 2025. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND EARLY HOTEL RESERVATIONS.
