Descriptive Tasks/Responsibilities for Position

The Executive Director of Security is a multi-campus position. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects and functions of college security for CPCC and its campuses. Collaborate with all Units/Departments of the college for special events (graduation, Sensoria, Theater events, etc. ) Responds to security inquiries and other related matters. Develop and participate in security training through the college. Maintain ongoing communications with contracted, local and federal law enforcement officials. The work schedule is Monday-Friday (evenings, weekends may be frequent or as needed). The anticipated hiring date for this position is June 1, 2021.


Bachelor’s Degree, six years of work experience in law enforcement or security, valid driver’s license, CPR and Basic First Aid Certification; if not currently certified, obtained within 90 days of employment and supervisory/management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working in an educational environment

· Three to five years of supervisory experience

· Industry related training certification(s) in the field such as Basic Law Enforcement Training, Tactical Response Training or other related training experiences
